Deportivo Norte starts confirming their roster

Deportivo Norte de Armstrong is heading into a new season in Liga Argentina, preparing with some confirmations for the season, with a mix of already established players on the team and some addings, along with the long lasting head Coach Alejandro Cupulutti.

The list of players confirmed is this:

- Celestino Cupulutti (186-SG-1993, agency: BIG): The son of Alejandro Cupulutti has played in the team for over years and is one of the most recognized and liked players on the team, "Cele" is coming of one his best seasons on the league averaging 12.9 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 2.8 apg with a 29% 3PT. in 30 games.

- Franco Fragozo (198-PF-2001): The multi functional Forward made a quick impact on Deportivo Norte de Armstrong last year, adding interior and exterior game, that's why the team decided to renew him. After averaging 7.6 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 0.9 apg with a 35.9% 3PT in 30 games.

- Franco Montemagio (185-G-2002): The scoring guard is coming for his third straight season on Deportivo Norte de Armstrong. He is seeking redemption after being unable to finish last season due to an injury. In 18 games Franco averaged 9.1 ppg, 2.9 rpg and 2.4 apg.

- Emiliano Vives (198-C-1998): One of the best products of Deportivo Norte de Armstrong youth program, Emiliano Vives will play his 5th straight season on the team.

- Juan Luis Abeiro (200-C/F-1988): Probably their most important signings of the off season Abeiro has consolidated as one of the best Centers in Liga Argentina, having played 7 straight seasons on Amegh. He will now look to help D. Norte reaching new heights. Last Season Abeiro averaged 14.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg and 1.0 apg in 32 games.

- Franco Borsellino (185-PG-1987). This will be a return for Norte since Franco has played there 2 seasons during 21-22 and 22-23 seasons. Last season in Argentina he played for Ferrocarril Oeste Buenos Aires (LNB) and Provincial de Rosario (Liga Argentina) and is currently part of Zamora Jaguars in Ecuador where he is having a great season.

- Federico Contrera (2006): The young PG is a product of the giant Boca Juniors youth program, will now make his professional debut on Liga Argentina, after playing in Liga de Desarrollo last year averaging 12.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 5.4 apg in 37 games.

- Norte will bring their young squad aswell since Francisco Rizzotti, Francisco Rossarola and Augusto Rodriguez, part of the Deportivo norte youth program will return this season along with Gianmarco Reale (190-F-2003, agency: BIG) whose coming from Villa Mitre.
