Echevarria's 20 points give him Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

26-year old power forward Conrado Echevarria (195-F/C-1998, agency: BIG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Amancay de La Rioja and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 20 points adding four rebounds for Amancay in his team's victory, helping them to beat Jujuy (#6, 1-3) 74-66. Amancay maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They are still close to the very top. Amancay would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. Echevarria turned to be Amancay's top player in his first season with the team. Conrado Echevarria averages this season 16.2ppg and 5.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Juan Krapp of Tomas de Rocamora. He is a in his first season at Rocamora. Krapp is a newcomer at Rocamora and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Boccia showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Boccia's great performance the Provincial lost 77-80 to the higher-ranked San Isidro (#3, 3-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Provincial can only dream about fighting for top spots in Conferencia Norte-A. Boccia has a very solid season. In 3 games in Argentina he scored 13.0ppg. Adrian Boccia has also Argentinian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
