The most important game of round 3 took place in Buenos Aires where Berazategui edged El Talar (4-1) 55-53 on Monday night. Berazategui forced 19 El Talar turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-2001) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points. Guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000, agency: BIG) helped adding 8 points and 7 rebounds. Berazategui's coach Gonzalo Gomez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) with 12 points and 5 rebounds.
Ferro defeated Obras in Buenos Aires 68-56. It was an exceptional evening for forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Florencia Fernandez accounted for 20 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). International Candela Gentinetta (181-2001) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds for Obras in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
Very important is a home loss of Lanus (0-4) against Rocamora (1-4) on Monday night. Host Lanus was defeated by Rocamora in Lanus 68-52. The best player for the winners was Lucia Juarez who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Martina Scian who recorded 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
In the last game of round 3 winless N.Avellaneda R. was destroyed by Union Florida on the opponent's court 92-49.
