Sagardoy's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

Maria Sagardoy had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Instituto de Cordoba and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had a double-double of 22 points and 19 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Montmartre (#6, 0-6) with 78-point margin 118-40. Instituto is placed at 2nd position in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Instituto will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Sagardoy as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Sagardoy has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 10.5rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Maria Acevedo. She is a in her 3rd season at Instituto. In the last game Acevedo recorded an impressive 24 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Sagardoy she helped Instituto de Cordoba with another comfortable win outscoring Montmartre (#6, 0-6) 118-40. This victory allowed Instituto to move up to second position in North. Her team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Acevedo is one of the most experienced players at Instituto and similarly like Maria Sagardoy has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 0.0ppg (#2).

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Agustina Garcia (173-F/G-1996) of Riachuelo de La Rioja (#3). Garcia scored 21 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
