International Point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-PG-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for El Talar, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, while her team beat Berazategui (#5, 4-8) 88-76. El Talar maintains the 4th position in their group in the Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. El Talar is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-6 record. Delabarba turned to be El Talar's top player in her first season with the team. Luciana Delabarba averages this season 21.6ppg and 7.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Lorena Campos (171-G/F-1999) of Quimsa de Santiago del Estero. Campos had a very good evening with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for Quimsa to edge the higher-ranked Instituto (#1, 7-2) 74-68. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in North. Quimsa consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. Her team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Carla Miculka (174-F-1993) of Club Union Florida (#3). Miculka scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Union Florida, leading her team to a 72-52 easy win against the lower-ranked Rocamora (#6, 4-9). Union Florida needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in South. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 5 lost games. Miculka has a great season in Argentina. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.5ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 8.7rpg (8th best).
