However their fans expected much easier game. El Talar forced 25 Avellaneda turnovers. The former international center Natassja Kolff (188-2004) had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Paraguayan forward Paloma Niz (175-1999) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists during the contest. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gorriones. The former international swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Angelina Giacone supported her with 15 points. Riachuelo's coach Pablo Rodrigo Pereyro felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by guard Valentina Numa (173-2000, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Gorriones. Riachuelo have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record behind leader Obras. Gorriones at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.
In the last game of round 14 Lanus was destroyed by Ferro on the opponent's court 80-59.
