Finetti's 19 points and 6 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

Valentino Finetti

19-year old power forward Valentino Finetti (204-F/C-2005) put on an amazing game in the last round for Obras Basket Buenos Aires and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 37.
He had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds for Obras in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Atenas (#20, 1-26) with 29-point margin 96-67. Obras is placed at 3rd position in Argentinian league. They are still close to the very top. Obras would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 21-4 record. Finetti turned to be Obras' top player in his first season with the team. Valentino Finetti averages this season 15.4ppg and 7.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Tomas Delia of Zarate Basket U22 team. He is a in his first season at Zarate. In the last game Delia recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Zarate lost that game 85-108 to the higher-ranked Obera (#6, 19-8). Zarate is still in a red zone at 17th spot in the standings. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just six victories Zarate managed to get this year. Delia is a newcomer at Zarate and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Augusto Roveres (207-C-2003) of Ferrocarril Oeste Buenos Aires (#8). Roveres scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Roveres' great performance the Ferro lost 72-73 to the lower-ranked San Martin (#16, 8-20). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Ferro needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 16 victories and 11 lost games. The season just started for Roveres as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
