El Talar - Ferro 52-76

Ferro dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to El Talar's 26. They outrebounded El Talar 51-32 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ferro brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 22 rebounds and 4 blocks. Center Julia Fernandez (185-2004) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Ferro's coach Carlos Denegri felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) answered with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Natassja Kolff (188-2004) added 7 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for El Talar.

Point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) produced 16 points and 7 assists and the former international power forward Giselle Botta (180-1999) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
