Club Deportivo La Salle Melilla (LF Challenge) re-signed 33-year-old Argentinian international 169cm point guard Macarena D'Urso for the upcoming season. She is the second foreign player in the roster, with Russian Maria Davydova signing earlier. D'Urso has played there for the last two seasons.
She has also been a member of the Argentinian international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Argentinian senior team since 2017 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2009.
D'Urso is a very experienced player. She has played also in Brazil (Presidente Valceslau), Uruguay (Aguada) and Argentina (Velez, Sunderland, Berazategui and Independiente) and Spain (Almeria and Estepona).
Among many awards, she played in the final of Liga Sudamericana in 2023. D'Urso was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF2 Honorable Mention back in 2022.
