Estudiantes sign Juan Pablo Vaulet

Juan Pablo Vaulet

Movistar Estudiantes Madrid (Primera FEB) has signed 29-year-old Argentinian-Polish international small forward Juan Pablo Vaulet (199cm-1996) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with Argentinian Patricio Garino having signed earlier. Vaulet will continue to play in Spain, where he played last season with Zunder Palencia. In 39 Primera FEB games in Spain, he averaged 13.4ppg, 4.8rpg, and 1.1apg, helping his team reach the semifinals. In the 2024-25 season, he was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB All-Bosmans Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB Third Team. Prior to his time with Movistar Estudiantes Madrid, Vaulet played for BAXI Manresa in the Liga Endesa for two seasons (2022-24).
In 2015, he was selected by the Charlotte Hornets (NBA) in the second round (39th overall) of the draft.
He has also been a member of the Argentinian international program for some years. Vaulet has regularly played for the Argentinian senior team since 2016 and previously for the University National Team back in 2019.
He also represented Argentina at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 6.4 ppg and had 3 rpg.
Vaulet is a quite experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and of course North America). Vaulet has played previously in Greece (AEK Betsson), NBA (Brooklyn Nets), Greece, and Argentina (Atenas, Bahia, Penarol, Libertad, and Hindu Club).
He played in the final of the Basketball Champions League in 2022.
