Atenas Cordoba (La Liga) signed 31-year-old American forward Marc Loving (203cm-100kg-1994, college: Ohio State, agency: JCK Sports Group) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He was the second-best scorer at BC Prievidza in the Slovakian Tipos SBL last season, where in 31 games he had very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 6.8rpg, and 2.2apg. In the 2024-25 season, he was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (2 times), and Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League First Team. He also played for Al Rayyan Doha (QBL) in the Qatari league.
Loving is a highly experienced player, having played in nine different countries on three continents - Europe, Asia, and North America. He has played professionally in Hungary (OSE Lions), Israel (Hapoel Gilboa Galil), Qatar, Romania (Sibiu), the United Kingdom (Leicester Riders), the NBA (Philadelphia 76ers), the NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats and San Diego Clippers), and The Basketball Tournament (Team AboutBillions).
He played in the final of British BBL in 2023, among many awards. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-British BBL Honorable Mention in 2023.
Loving graduated from Ohio State in 2017 and it'll be his 9th season as a pro player.
