Instituto Atletico Central Cordoba (La Liga) signed 27-year-old American 196cm guard Jalen Adaway (college: St. Bonaventure) for the upcoming season. He last played for Obregon in the Mexican CIBACOPA, where he averaged 16.4ppg, 4.0rpg, and 2.2apg in 18 games last season, helping them reach the semifinals. Prior to that, he played for the Clippers in the NBA G League.
Adaway is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Canada, Slovakia, and the NBA G League. Thanks to pro basketball, he has experienced life in four different countries on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American, and North American leagues.
Adaway's team won the Mexican LNBP Regular Season in 2024, among many awards. He was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian Nike SBL Guard of the Year in 2024.
Adaway graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 2022 and it'll be his fourth season in pro basketball. He played also for Miami University for 2 years.
