La Union Formosa (La Liga) signed American 188cm guard Brandon Beavers (college: Lawrence Tech) for the upcoming season. He was the second-best scorer at Obregon in the Mexican CIBACOPA. In 38 games he played, he averaged 7.3ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.6apg, and 1.2spg last season. He helped them reach the semifinals. Last season, he played for Atletico Welcome Montevideo (LUB) in the Uruguayan league.
Among many awards he received, he won the All-WHAC Player of the Year award and was voted to the WHAC All-Defensive Team in 2024.
Beavers attended Lawrence Technological University until 2024 and it'll be his second season in pro basketball. He played also for Shawnee State University for one year.
