Obras Basket Buenos Aires (La Liga) added 30-year old American guard Ty Sabin (190cm-1994, college: Ripon) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. He joins fellow USA player Andrew Corum on the team. Sabin played last season at Valcea in the Romanian Liga Nationala, averaging 9.0ppg, 2.1rpg, and 1.7apg in 33 games. He also played for Luiss Roma (Serie A2) in the Italian league.
Sabin is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Denmark (Horsholm), Iceland (KR Reykjavik), Italy (Cento and San Severo), Romania, Spain (Coruna), Sweden (Wetterbygden) and The Basketball Tournament (We Are D3).
Sabin's college team won the MWC Tournament in 2017, and he was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from Ripon College in 2017 and it'll be his ninth season as a pro player.
