Obera Tennis Club (La Liga) added to their roster 29-year old American forward Will Vorhees (203cm-109kg-1995, college: NDC). It is actually his comeback to Obera as he has played here before. He played last season at Best Virginia (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
In 2021 (two years after his graduation) he was drafted by Fort Wayne Mad Ants (G-League) as #3 pick overall.
The former Notre Dame College (NCAA Div.II) star is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Vorhees tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played professionally in Germany (Rasta Vechta and Eisbaeren Bremerhaven), Mexico (Abejas), NBA G League (Noblesville Boom) and Argentina (Comunicaciones). Vorhees' team was regular season runner-up in Argentinian League in 2025.
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian League Honorable Mention in 2023.
Vorhees is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
