Argentinian LDD round 4 best performance: Valentino Finetti

Power forward Valentino Finetti (204-F/C-2005) had a great game in the last round for Obras Basket Buenos Aires, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 20-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Olimpico (#18, 0-3) with 63-point margin 118-55. Obras maintains the 3rd position in Argentinian LDD. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Obras already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. It's Finetti's second year at Obras and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Valentino Finetti averages just after three games 12.3ppg and 7.7rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Benjamin Imaz of Atenas Cordoba. Imaz had a very good evening with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Atenas was edged by the higher-ranked Argentino (#5, 2-1) 75-71. This loss caused Atenas to drop to 13th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Atenas managed to get this year. Imaz is well-known at Atenas and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Martin Chapero (205-F/C-2007) of Penarol Mar del Plata (#12). Chapero scored 12 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Penarol, leading his team to a 71-68 win against Quimsa (1-3). Penarol can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Chapero has individually a great season in Argentina. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.3rpg (6th best).
