D'Agostino's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

24-year old COL-ARG center Malvina D'Agostino (184-C-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Hindu Club de Resistencia and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
She had a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds, while her team beat San Jose (#2, 3-1) 60-54. It allowed Hindu to consolidate first place in the Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. The season is still on an early stage, but Hindu already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. It was one of impressive evenings for D'Agostino as usually she does not deliver so high stats. D'Agostino has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 11.5rpg), assists (9th best: 3.3apg) and averages solid 1.3bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Lorena Campos (171-G/F-1999) of Quimsa de Santiago del Estero. She is a swingman in her 9th season at Quimsa. In the last game Campos recorded an impressive 21 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Quimsa was edged by San Jose (3-1) 65-62. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Campos is one of the most experienced players at Quimsa and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 5.0ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 10.0rpg and 4.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Maria Jourdheuil (180-PF-1994) of El Bigua (#7). Jourdheuil scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Jourdheuil's great performance the El Bigua lost 48-61 to Rocamora (#2, 2-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The season just started for Jourdheuil as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.

7. Martina Schunk (181-C-2005) of Rocamora - 15 points and 18 rebounds
8. Stefania Lucero (172-F-1993) of Chanares - 27 points and 8 rebounds
9. Macarena Galindez) of Chanares - 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Aguehil Fajardo (183-PF-1999) of El Talar - 17 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
