The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Ferro (2-1) in Buenos Aires on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by El Talar (3-1) 81-78. 24 personal fouls committed by Ferro helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Julieta Ale (176-1995) helped adding 14 points. The best for the losing side was with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. El Talar is looking forward to face Independiente (#7) in Neuquen in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ferro will play at home against Rocamora (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Obras' (#5) 67-62 road victory against Berazategui. Instituto destroyed Bochas at home 75-41. Riachuelo was outscored by Chanares on the opponent's court 98-60.
