The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Instituto (7-2) in James Craik on Friday night. Visitors were edged by third ranked Chanares (7-3) 79-76. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Instituto. Chanares forced 20 Instituto turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Instituto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Italian point guard Regina Carosio (165-1986) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. replied with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Instituto. Instituto's coach Ignacio Correas tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Chanares have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader El Talar. Newly promoted Hindu still keeps top place with two games lost. They share the position with Instituto.

The winners were led by Agustina Marin who scored that evening 32 points. Even a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds by Miranda Canales did not help to save the game for Independiente. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. El Talar have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Newly promoted Independiente keeps the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Riachuelo.

In the last two games of round 8 Rocamora was smashed by Union Florida on the road 82-56. Avellaneda lost to Hindu on its own court 56-70.
The most impressive performance of 8th round was 25 points and 14 rebounds by Aylen Valdez of Hindu.

The winners were led by the former international Agustina Marin (170-2003) who scored that evening 32 points and the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) supported her with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.
