Guard Abril Romagnoli (167-G-2003) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Ferrocarril Oeste Buenos Aires, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 22-year old player was the main contributor (6 points, five rebounds and two assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat El Bigua (#8, 2-6) 65-51. Ferro is placed at 2nd position in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They are still close to the very top. Ferro would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. Romagnoli has many years of experience at Ferro, through which she has constantly improved.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Carla Miculka (174-F-1993) of Club Union Florida. Miculka had a very good evening with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Union Florida lost that game 64-71 to slightly lower-ranked Independiente (#7, 3-7). This loss caused Union Florida to drop to 5th position in South. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Miculka is a newcomer at Union Florida, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Laila Raviolo (180-G-2000, agency: BIG) of Independiente de Neuquen (#7). Raviolo showcased her all-around game by recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Raviolo's great performance the Independiente lost 53-89 to the higher-ranked Ferro (#2, 7-1). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Raviolo has a very solid season. In 8 games in Argentina she scored 13.4ppg.
