Kolff's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

21-year old center Natassja Kolff (188-C-2004) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Obras Basket Buenos Aires and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
She had a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed El Bigua (#8, 2-8) with 40-point margin 82-42. Obras maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They are still close to the very top. Obras would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Kolff as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Natassja Kolff averages this season 7.3ppg and 8.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Camila Peri (182-F/C-2000) of Atletico Lanus. She is a forward in her 2nd season at Lanus. In the last game Peri recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Lanus was edged by the higher-ranked Union Florida (#5, 4-5) 54-50. Lanus managed to keep the same 9th spot in South. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Lanus managed to get this year. Peri is well-known at Lanus and she already established her position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to center Julia Fernandez (185-C-2004) of Ferrocarril Oeste Buenos Aires (#3). Fernandez scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Fernandez's great performance the Ferro lost 79-81 to #2 ranked Obras. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Ferro needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the South. Their record is 7 victories and 2 lost games. The season just started for Fernandez as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.
