Cabrera's 29 points give him Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

25-year old point guard Guido Cabrera (188-PG-2000) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked La Union Colon and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 29 points adding two rebounds and four assists for La Union in his team's victory, helping them to crush Racing A. (#1, 3-1) with 17-point margin 94-77. La Union is placed at 2nd position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and La Union won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Cabrera had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at La Union, through which he has constantly improved. Guido Cabrera averages just after two games 18.5ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Simon Hunt-Ramirez (201-SG-1998) of Centro Deportivo Rivadavia de Mendoza. He is American-Colombian guard in his first season at Rivadavia. Hunt-Ramirez is a newcomer at Rivadavia and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Valentin Costa (182-SG-1999, agency: BIG) of Ciclista Juninense (#13). Costa showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. Despite Costa's great performance the Ciclista lost 77-82 to the higher-ranked Provincial (#4, 2-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Ciclista not to end season at such low position in Conferencia Sur, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Costa could try to bring Ciclista's a little bit higher in the standings. Costa has a very solid season. In 3 games in Argentina he scored 14.3ppg.
