Mazzucchelli's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

21-year old forward Santino Mazzucchelli (196-F-2004) put on an amazing game in the last round for Club Atletico Platense Florida and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 33 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Racing Ch. (#10, 4-4) 76-70. Platense is placed at 6th position in Argentinian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Platense will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. Mazzucchelli has many years of experience at Platense, through which he has constantly improved. Mazzucchelli has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.7ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 1.1bpg,3.7spg,59.2% FGP and 46.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Romeo Amprimo) of Quimsa Santiago del Estero. He is a in his 3rd season at Quimsa. In the last game Amprimo recorded an impressive 35 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for Quimsa to edge slightly higher-ranked Union (#11, 4-5) by 6 points 93-87. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Quimsa managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 13th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-6 record. Amprimo is one of the most experienced players at Quimsa and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Camilo Rodriguez (187-G-2006) of Ferrocarril Oeste Buenos Aires (#9). Rodriguez scored 28 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Rodriguez's great performance the Ferro lost 67-70 to slightly higher-ranked Independ.O. (#7, 5-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Ferro needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Rodriguez has a great season in Argentina. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.7ppg (3rd best). He also has 2.7spg, a FGP of 55.0% and 3PT: 42.6%.
