The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Buenos Aires: Berazategui (#4) and Obras (#2). Obras was defeated at home 64-72 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Obras. The former international forward Magali Vilches (182-2002) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-2001) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Florencia Chagas (180-2001) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds for Obras. Obras' coach Javier Ielmini rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Berazategui have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 6-5 record, which they share with Gorriones and San Jose. Obras at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Berazategui is looking forward to face Rocamora (#5) in Concepcion de Urug. in the next round. Obras will play on the road against the league's leader El Talar in Caba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hindu (9-4) against fifth ranked Gorriones (6-5) on Wednesday night. Visiting Hindu was defeated by Gorriones in a tough game in Rio Cuarto 53-57. had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Lucia Pispieiro chipped in 22 points and 5 steals during the contest. The former international forward Magali Vilches (182-2002) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Gorriones moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Berazategui and San Jose. Newly promoted Hindu dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Chanares. Gorriones will play against Quimsa (#6) in Santiado del Estero in the next round. Hindu will have a break next round.
LaLiga Femenina top team - Instituto (12-2) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Bochas (1-12) 87-55. Julieta Sienra notched 14 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort. Even 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by Debora Coli did not help to save the game for Bochas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Instituto have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-2 record. Bochas lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. Instituto will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bochas will play against San Jose (#4) and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 14 Hindu smashed Bochas on the road 78-49.
The most impressive performance of 14th round was 25 points and 5 rebounds by Melina Niz of Hindu.

Instituto forced 29 Bochas turnovers and outrebounded them 45-27 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Instituto looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Julieta Sienra notched 14 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and Maria Acevedo supported her with 16 points. Even 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by Debora Coli did not help to save the game for Bochas. Luzmila Varzi added 10 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. No shocking result in a game when third ranked Hindu (9-4) crushed on the road 9th ranked Bochas (1-12) 78-49 on Thursday. Hindu held Bochas to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.9 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Bochas 49-35 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Melina Niz (165-2005, agency: BIG) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Aylen Valdez supported her with 5 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by did not help to save the game for Bochas. Renata Niveyro added 10 points for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hindu moved-up to second place, which they share with Chanares. Bochas lost ninth consecutive game. Bochas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Hindu will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bochas will play against San Jose (#4) and hope to win that game.
