Argentinian LaLiga Femenina round 15 best performance: Luz Andujar (by Hoops Agents)

Shooting guard Luz Andujar (173-SG-2005) had a very impressive game in the last round for Club Deportivo de Berazategui Buenos Aires, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 20-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed Rocamora (#6, 6-7) with 29-point margin 72-43. Berazategui is placed at 4th position in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. Berazategui is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-6 record. In the team's last game Andujar had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Berazategui, through which she has constantly improved. Luz Andujar has solid league stats. She is in league's top in assists (8th best: 3.5apg) and averages impressive 2.8spg and 55.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Carla Miculka (174-F-1993) of Club Union Florida. Miculka had a very good evening with 24 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. It was enough for Union Florida to edge slightly higher-ranked Berazategui (#4, 7-6) 79-76. This victory allowed Union Florida to move up to 5th position in South. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Miculka is a newcomer at Union Florida, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.9ppg (#7). She also registered 6.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Jacqueline Soto (1997, agency: BIG) of Gorriones (#5). Soto scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Soto's great performance the Gorriones lost 65-74 to slightly lower-ranked Quimsa (#6, 6-8). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Gorriones ranking at the top of North, however are very questionable as they have already lost 7 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Soto could help Gorriones to bring them higher in the standings. Soto has a great season in Argentina. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.9rpg (5th best).
