Sienra's 17 points and 6 assists give her Player of the Week award

22-year old point guard Julieta Sienra (161-PG-2003) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Instituto de Cordoba and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
She had the game-high 17 points adding four rebounds and six assists for Instituto in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Riachuelo (#8, 3-11) with 48-point margin 87-39. It allowed Instituto to consolidate first place in the Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. Instituto have a solid 13-2 record. In the team's last game Sienra had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She turned to be Instituto's top player in her first season with the team. Sienra has impressive league stats. She is league's best passer with 5.5apg. Sienra is in league's top in and averages solid 2.1spg and 52.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Sol Depetris (171-SG-2007) of Club Union Florida. She is a guard in her 2nd season at Union Florida. In the last game Depetris recorded an impressive 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Union Florida was edged by the higher-ranked Obras (#2, 10-3) 63-62. Union Florida managed to keep the same 5th spot in South. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Depetris is well-known at Union Florida and she already established her position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Luciana Delabarba (167-PG-1997) of league's leader El Talar. Delabarba scored 19 points and passed 4 assists. She was a key player of El Talar, leading her team to a 63-55 win against the lower-ranked Lanus (#9, 2-11). Many experts and fans count El Talar as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 12 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings in South. Delabarba has a great season in Argentina. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.2ppg (4th best).
