Brocal's 27 points give him Player of the Week award

28-year old shooting guard Agustin Brocal (191-SG-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for Obera Tennis Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had the game-high 27 points adding four rebounds and three assists for Obera in his team's victory, helping them to crush Penarol (#5, 7-4) with 16-point margin 87-71. Obera is placed at 8th position in Argentinian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Obera will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. In the team's last game Brocal had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. It's his second year at Obera and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Brocal has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 16.8ppg).

Second best performed player last round was Francisco Caffaro (216-C-2000) of Boca Juniors Buenos Aires. He is international center in his first season at Boca Juniors. In the last game Caffaro recorded an impressive double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. Of course Boca Juniors cruised to a 71-61 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Quimsa (#12, 5-6). This victory allowed Boca Juniors to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 7-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Caffaro is a newcomer at Boca Juniors and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#4). He also registered 10.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Marcos Delia (209-C-1992) of Obras Basket Buenos Aires (#4). Delia scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Obras, leading his team to a 92-89 win against the lower-ranked Independ.O. (#7, 6-3). Obras needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Delia has a great season in Argentina. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.9rpg (6th best). Marcos Delia has also Argentinian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
