Fuenmayor's 21 points and 6 rebounds give him La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

25-year old Venezuelan Fernando Fuenmayor (201-C/F-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for Racing Club Avellaneda and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had the game-high 21 points adding six rebounds for Racing A. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Villa Mitre (#11, 2-2) 87-79. Racing A. is placed at 3rd position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Racing A. will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Fuenmayor had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. Third place about best performers goes to forward Rodrigo Sanchez (200-F-1989) of Pico Football Club de General Pico (#8). Sanchez scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Sanchez's great performance the Pico FC lost 68-74 to the higher-ranked Provincial (#2, 4-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Pico FC needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Conferencia Sur. Their record is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Sanchez has a very solid season. In 3 games in Argentina he scored 17.3ppg.
