Chance Hunter claims Argentinian La Liga Argentina Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Chance Hunter (198-SF-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Salta Basket and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 27-year old had the game-high 16 points adding seven rebounds for Salta Basket in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Las Heras (#12, 3-6) 67-65. Salta Basket is placed at 6th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Salta Basket will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Hunter turned to be Salta Basket's top player in his first season with the team. The third best performed player last round was Venezuelan Keiver Marcano (205-C-2003) of Deportivo Viedma Rio Negro (#13). Marcano scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Marcano's great performance the Dep Viedma lost 83-88 to the higher-ranked GELP (#2, 5-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Dep Viedma not to end season at such low position in Conferencia Sur, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Marcano could try to bring Dep Viedma's a little bit higher in the standings. Marcano has a very solid season. In 6 games in Argentina he scored 12.2ppg. He also has 8.5rpg and a FGP of 58.5%.
