Bonfigli's double-double lands him La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

Power forward Felipe Bonfigli (198-PF) had an amazing evening in the last round for Pico Football Club de General Pico and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had a double-double of 19 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Rocamora (#17, 2-6) with 18-point margin 86-68. Pico FC is placed at 5th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Pico FC will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Bonfigli had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Pico FC, through which he has constantly improved. Bonfigli has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 65.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Zondrick Garrett (203-F/C-2002, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) of Centro Deportivo Rivadavia de Mendoza. He is American forward in his first season at Rivadavia. In the last game Garrett recorded an impressive 22 points and 9 rebounds. Of course he led Rivadavia to another comfortable win 83-70 over slightly higher-ranked Villa S.Martin (#5, 6-5) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Rivadavia to move up to 6th position in Conferencia Norte. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Garrett is a newcomer at Rivadavia and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Rivadavia's star - guard Mateo Perez (189-G-2002, agency: BIG). Perez scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Centro Deportivo Rivadavia de Mendoza, helping his team with a 83-70 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Villa S.Martin (#5, 6-5). Rivadavia needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Conferencia Norte. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 3 lost games. Perez has a very solid season. In 8 games in Argentina he scored 15.6ppg. He also has 5.9rpg, 3.3apg and a FGP of 58.6%.
