Maeso's double-double lands him La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

Franco Maeso

25-year old forward Franco Maeso (197-F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tomas de Rocamora and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 23.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Racing A. (#9, 6-7) 85-76. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings in Conferencia Sur. Rocamora maintains the 16th position in their group in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 9 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Maeso had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. They have rather bad season and 3-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Feder has individually a great season in Argentina. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.2ppg (best scorer).
