Sune's 28 points give him La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

23-year old shooting guard Jeronimo Sune (187-SG-2002, agency: BIG) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Club Atletico San Isidro and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 26.
He had the game-high 28 points adding two assists for San Isidro in his team's victory, helping them to beat Jujuy (#12, 6-7) 93-80. San Isidro maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. San Isidro will need more victories to improve their 9-3 record. Sune has many years of experience at San Isidro, through which he has constantly improved. Jeronimo Sune averages this season 16.0ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Rodrigo Sanchez (200-F-1989) of Pico Football Club de General Pico. He is a forward in his first season at Pico FC. In the last game Sanchez recorded an impressive 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Pico FC to edge the higher-ranked Quilmes (#2, 11-5) by 6 points 80-74. Sanchez is a newcomer at Pico FC and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#7). Third place about best performers goes to Abraham Barahona (195-SF-2003) of league's leader Provincial de Rosario. Barahona scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Barahona's great performance the Provincial lost 77-82 to the lower-ranked Racing A. (#9, 7-8). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Provincial needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Conferencia Sur. Their record is 11 victories and 3 lost games. Barahona has a very solid season. In 14 games in Argentina he scored 15.6ppg. He also has 7.3rpg and a FGP of 76.0%.
