Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Instituto smashed Avellaneda in Cordoba 64-34. Instituto held Avellaneda to an opponent 22.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Instituto forced 25 Avellaneda turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Giselle Botta (180-1999) who led her team to a victory scoring 8 points and 9 rebounds. Maria Sagardoy helped adding 7 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was center Isabella Boullon (181-2007) with 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
San Jose (1-1) recorded a loss in Santiado del Estero. Visitors were defeated by Quimsa (1-0) 68-58. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Lorena Campos (171-1999) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Lucia Boggetti accounted for 9 points and 11 rebounds. Uruguayan guard Carolina Fernandez (186-2003) came up with 12 points and 6 assists for San Jose in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quimsa will play against Riachuelo (#14) in La Rioja in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San Jose will have a break next round.
A very close game took place in Concepcion de Urug. between Berazategui and Rocamora. Berazategui (2-0) got a very close victory on the road over Rocamora (0-3). Berazategui managed to escape with a 3-point win 58-55 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The best player for the winners was Magali Vilches who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Nerea Schmidt who recorded 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last two games of round 3 winless Avellaneda lost to undefeated Hindu on the opponent's court 45-63. Winless El Bigua unfortunately lost to Union Florida in a home game 65-78.

Very expected game in Chaco where Avellaneda (0-2) was defeated by Hindu (2-0) 63-45 on Thursday. Hindu forced 20 Avellaneda turnovers. The best player for the winners was Valentina Galfrascoli who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. point guard Melina Niz (165-2005, agency: BIG) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Uruguayan center Selena Medrick (177-2002) who recorded 8 points and 15 rebounds and guard Sofia Gonzalez (162-2008, college: Tufts) added 12 points respectively. Rather predictable result when Union Florida (1-1) defeated on the road El Bigua (0-3) 78-65 on Thursday. Union Florida outrebounded El Bigua 40-27 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was international swingman Delfina Saravia (173-2003) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Sol Depetris (171-2007) chipped in 18 points. Union Florida's coach Nicolas Grosso used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Maria Jourdheuil (180-1994) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Chilean point guard Javiera Campos (163-2002) added 11 points and 7 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Union Florida will meet at home Lanus (#9) in the next round. El Bigua will have a break next round.
