Burani's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

34-year old power forward Agostina Burani (186-F/C-1991) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Obras Basket Buenos Aires and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had a double-double of 11 points and 16 rebounds, while her team crushed El Talar (#7, 2-1) with 16-point margin 72-56. Obras is placed at 2nd position in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Obras already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. It was one of impressive evenings for Burani as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Burani has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.0rpg) and averages solid 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Delfina Alves (186-F/C-2008) of Bochas. She is a forward in her first season at Bochas. In the last game Alves recorded an impressive double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Bochas lost that game 67-90 to league's leader Chanares (#4, 2-0). Despite lost game Bochas moved up to 13th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Bochas managed to get this year. Alves is one of the most experienced players at Bochas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.7ppg (#7). She also registered 13.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Jacqueline Soto (1997, agency: BIG) of Gorriones (#16). Soto scored 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Soto's great performance the Gorriones lost 51-74 to the league's current leader Chanares (#4, 2-0). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Gorriones can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Soto has individually a great season in Argentina. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.0rpg (3rd best).
