Stefania Lucero claims Argentinian LaLiga Femenina weekly honour

Experienced Stefania Lucero (172-F-1993, agency: BIG) had an amazing evening in the last round for Deportivo Chanares and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 32-year old forward had a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds, while her team beat Avellaneda (#12, 1-3) 76-66. Chanares is placed at 4th position in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Chanares already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Lucero had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. She turned to be Chanares' top player in her first season with the team. Lucero has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 21.3ppg. Lucero is in league's top in and averages solid 4.3spg and 54.3% FGP.

The third best performed player last round was Colombian center Malvina D'Agostino (184-C-2001) of second-ranked Hindu Club de Resistencia. D'Agostino showcased her all-around game by recording 15 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Hindu, leading her team to a 64-57 win against Riachuelo (#17, 0-3). Hindu is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... D'Agostino has a great season in Argentina. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.0rpg (2nd best). Malvina D'Agostino has also Argentinian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
