Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Chanares as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Chanares smashed 13th ranked San Jose in James Craik 88-67. Chanares forced 27 San Jose turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by San Jose's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and naturalized Italian point guard Regina Carosio (165-1986) who added 11 points, 11 assists and 10 steals during the contest. Bolivian Romina Moreira (-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Chanares (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Obras. San Jose lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game between Top Four teams took place in James Craik. Top-ranked host Chanares (5-0) defeated 4th ranked Instituto (4-2) 69-57. The winners were led by forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Marilina Banegas supported her with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Even 18 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) did not help to save the game for Instituto. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Chanares have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Obras. Instituto at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Bottom-ranked Riachuelo (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to eleventh ranked Gorriones (3-3) 60-51 on Wednesday evening.
