Carosio's 18 points and 9 assists give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

39-year old ITA-ARGn point guard Regina Carosio (165-PG-1986) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Deportivo Chanares and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
She had the game-high 18 points adding eight rebounds and nine assists for Chanares in her team's victory, helping them to crush Hindu (#3, 5-2) with 20-point margin 77-57. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Chanares to consolidate first place in the Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Chanares already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. It was one of impressive evenings for Carosio as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Carosio has impressive league stats. She is league's best passer with 6.0apg. Carosio is in league's top in and averages solid 4.0spg,58.8% FGP and 47.8% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Stefania Lucero (172-F-1993, agency: BIG). She is a forward in her first season at Chanares. In the last game Lucero recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Of course together with Carosio she helped Deportivo Chanares with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Hindu (#3, 5-2) 77-57. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Chanares consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 6 games without any defeat. Lucero is a newcomer at Chanares and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#1). She also registered 9.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Agustina Garcia (173-F/G-1996) of El Bigua (#13). Garcia scored 25 points and passed 4 assists. She was a key player of El Bigua, leading her team to a 68-64 win against the higher-ranked Berazategui (#7, 4-2). El Bigua can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Garcia has individually a great season in Argentina. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (2nd best).
