Argentinian LaLiga Femenina round 11 best performance: Delfina Alves (by Hoops Agents)

Power forward Delfina Alves (186-F/C-2008) had an amazing evening in the last round for Bochas de Colonia Caroya, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 17-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while her team edged out San Jose (#17, 1-6) 69-66. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory Bochas moved-up to the 13th position in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. Bochas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. Alves just recently signed at Bochas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Delfina Alves has solid league stats. She leads league in rebounds with 12.3rpg. Alves is in league's top in and averages impressive 1.2bpg,3.3spg and 66.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international Candela Gentinetta (181-SF-2001) of Obras Basket Buenos Aires. Gentinetta had a very good evening with a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Obras to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Lanus (#18, 1-6) 78-41. Despite this victory Obras slide down in the standings to 3rd position. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 6 matches. Gentinetta is one of the most experienced players at Obras and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international swingman Agustina Garcia (173-F/G-1996) of Club El Bigua (#14). Garcia scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. She was a key player of Bigua, leading her team to a 73-64 win against slightly lower-ranked Rocamora (#16, 1-6). Bigua can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Garcia has individually a great season in Argentina. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.4ppg (2nd best).
