Lema's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

27-year old Leonardo Lema (203-SF-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for Quimsa Santiago del Estero and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Platense (#14, 9-12) 86-85. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Quimsa is placed at 9th position in Argentinian league. Quimsa is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-10 record. Third place about best performers goes to forward Federico Aguerre (203-F-1988) of San Martin Corrientes (#12). Aguerre scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of San Martin, leading his team to a 85-79 win against the lower-ranked Boca Juniors (#15, 8-12). The chances of San Martin ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 11 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Aguerre could help San Martin to bring them higher in the standings. Aguerre has a very solid season. In 21 games in Argentina he scored 6.4ppg. He also has 4.8rpg and a FGP of 51.2%. Federico Aguerre has also Argentinian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
