Argentinian La Liga round 31 best performance: Tayavek Gallizzi (by Hoops Agents)

International Power forward Tayavek Gallizzi (206-F/C-1993) had an amazing evening in the last round for Regatas Corrientes, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (16 points, five rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Boca Juniors (#15, 8-12) 58-55. Regatas is placed at 6th position in Argentinian La Liga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Regatas will need more victories to improve their 13-7 record. In the team's last game Gallizzi had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Tayavek Gallizzi averages this season 10.5ppg.

He was a key player of Instituto, leading his team to a 80-75 win against the lower-ranked San Martin (#12, 10-12). Instituto needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 10 lost games. Copello has a very solid season. In 24 games in Argentina he scored 12.4ppg. He also has 4.0rpg and a FGP of 51.7%.
