Round 36 most important game was a defeat of league's leader San Isidro (12-6). They were defeated by second ranked Amancay (13-6) 73-58 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of San Isidro. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Mauro Araujo (185-1994) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and point guard Gonzalo Alonso (178-2002) who added 10 points during the contest. A very close game took place in Mercedes between Colon and Comunicaciones. Seventeenth ranked Colon (5-11) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Comunicaciones (7-9). Colon managed to escape with a 3-point win 86-83 on Monday evening. The best player for the winners was Hans Feder who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Tomas Allende who recorded 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Colon have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventeenth position with 5-11 record. Loser Comunicaciones keeps the thirteenth place with nine games lost. Colon will meet higher ranked Villa S.Martin (#8) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Comunicaciones will have a break next round.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 36: El Talar lost to Villa Mitre on the opponent's court 60-78. Las Heras managed to outperform Caroya in a home game 90-86. Suardi managed to beat Hindu on the road 78-74. Lanus crushed Pergamino on its own court 103-69. GELP smashed Rocamora in La Plata 83-54. Quilmes was destroyed by Centenario VT at home 77-97. Salta Basket unfortunately lost to Rivadavia on the opponent's court 79-86.



Villa Mitre - El Talar 78-60

Everything could happen in Bahia Blanca at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Villa Mitre and 12th ranked El Talar had identical 6-10 record. This time Villa Mitre used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Buenos Aires 78-60 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was center Julian Lorca (207-2003) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Federico Harina (186-1991) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists.
