Regina Carosio's triple-double lands her Player of the Week award

39-year old ITA-ARGn point guard Regina Carosio (165-PG-1986) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Deportivo Chanares and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
She recorded a triple-double of 23 points adding also 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while her team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Riachuelo (#18, 0-6) with 18-point margin 99-81. It allowed Chanares to take over top position in the Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Chanares keeps a perfect 7-0 record. In the team's last game Carosio had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for her as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Carosio has impressive league stats. She is league's best passer with 6.6apg. Carosio is in league's top in and averages solid 4.3spg,63.6% FGP and 48.5% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Maria Jourdheuil (180-PF-1994) of Club El Bigua. She is international forward in her first season at Bigua. In the last game Jourdheuil recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for Bigua to edge the higher-ranked Independiente (#9, 4-4) by 5 points 79-74. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Bigua keeps 13th position. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-5 record. Jourdheuil is a newcomer at Bigua and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Bigua's star - swingman Agustina Garcia (173-F/G-1996). Garcia showcased her all-around game by recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Club El Bigua, helping her team with a 79-74 win against the higher-ranked Independiente (#9, 4-4). The chances of Bigua not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Garcia could try to bring Bigua's a little bit higher in the standings. Garcia has individually a great season in Argentina. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.9ppg (2nd best).
