Forward Stefania Lucero (172-F-1993, agency: BIG) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Deportivo Chanares, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat San Jose (#15, 2-7) 83-74. It allowed Chanares to consolidate first place in the Argentinian LaLiga Femenina. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Chanares keeps a perfect 8-0 record. Lucero turned to be Chanares' top player in her first season with the team. Stefania Lucero has solid league stats. Despite Campos' great performance the Quimsa lost 65-68 to the lower-ranked Avellaneda (#12, 3-5). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Quimsa needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Campos has a very solid season. In 7 games in Argentina she scored 15.1ppg. She also has 5.1rpg, 3.0spg, a FGP of 52.2% and 3PT: 41.7%.
