Drocezesky's 22 points and 5 assists give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

20-year old ARG-ESPn guard Tiago Drocezesky (193-G-2005) had a very impressive game in the last round for Boca Juniors Buenos Aires and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
He had the game-high 22 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Boca Jrs. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Argentino (#16, 7-16) 69-58. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Boca Juniors maintains the 18th position in Argentinian league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 15 games and recorded just six victories. In the team's last game Drocezesky had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Boca Juniors, through which he has constantly improved. Tiago Drocezesky averages this season 17.2ppg and 6.1rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Valentino Ayala (190-G-2005) of Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia. He is a guard in his second season at Gimnasia. In the last game Ayala recorded an impressive 33 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Gimnasia was edged by slightly lower-ranked Quimsa (#13, 9-14) 87-84. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Gimnasia dropped in the standings to 11th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-13 record. Ayala is well-known at Gimnasia and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to another Gimnasia's star - Ciro Melo. Melo scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Melo's great performance the Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia U22 team lost 66-88 to the lower-ranked Olimpico (#19, 3-20). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Gimnasia CR ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 13 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Melo could help Gimnasia to bring them higher in the standings. Melo has a very solid season. In 23 games in Argentina he scored 8.5ppg.
