Ferro was defeated by Independiente in a tough game in Neuquen 62-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ferro. Guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Martina Torres (180-2002) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for Ferro. Ferro's coach Gabriel Fernandez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Independiente maintains tenth place with 6-6 record. Defending champion Ferro keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Hindu. Independiente will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ferro will play on the road against El Talar in Caba and is hoping to win this game.

Chilean point guard Javiera Campos (163-2002) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. El Talar moved-up to fifth place. Bigua at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Bochas and San Jose. El Talar will play against higher ranked Obras (#4) in Buenos Aires in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bigua will have a break next round.
A very close game took place in between San Jose and Quimsa. Fifteenth ranked San Jose (3-7) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Quimsa (6-3). San Jose managed to escape with a 3-point win 66-63 on Sunday evening. Virginia Peralta nailed 31 points for the winning side. Lorena Campos came up with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for Quimsa in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. San Jose moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Bigua and Bochas. Loser Quimsa dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Berazategui.
