Venezuelan Power forward Elian Centeno (200-PF-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Club Atletico Villa San Martin, receiving a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 42.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 33 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Colon SF (#17, 5-15) 88-79. Villa S.Martin is placed at 7th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Villa S.Martin is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-10 record. Centeno turned to be Villa S.Martin's top player in his first season with the team. Elian Centeno has solid league stats. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Conferencia Sur. Their record is 13 victories and 10 lost games. Johnson has a very solid season. In 14 games in Argentina he scored 9.2ppg. He also has 4.4rpg and a FGP of 54.2%.
