Ecuadorian forward Joseph Caicedo (196-F-2004) was tied for the best scorer of the day in the world with the 30 points he had in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Despite his strong performance, his team Santa Paula lost to the Suardi 101 to 105. He also grabbed 6 rebounds that game. Among many awards his team won the Argentinian Supercup in 2024. Caicedo was selected to the Latinbasket AllFiba Under 18 South American Championship First Team back in 2022.
