The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Seventh defeat of league's leader C.Entrerriano (19-7) against fourth ranked Quilmes (17-9) 73-65 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of C.Entrerriano. 28 personal fouls committed by C.Entrerriano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Juan De La Fuente (195-2000) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Darry Moore (201-2001, college: ETBU) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Nicolas Reynoso (191-1999) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds for C.Entrerriano. Quilmes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 17-9 record. C.Entrerriano at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost. They share it with Provincial. They were replaced at the leadership position by Provincial. C.Entrerriano will play next round against GELP trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Quilmes will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Racing A. in Buenos Aires.
Leading Provincial (19-7) recorded its seventh loss in Colon. Visitors were edged by third ranked La Union (17-7) 78-77. Rodrigo Acuna (198-1995) stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Gonzalo Romero chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side the former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-1982) responded with 20 points. La Union maintains third place with 17-7 record behind leader Provincial, which they share with San Isidro. Provincial at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost. They share it with C.Entrerriano. La Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Provincial will play at home against U.Mar del Plata and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Riojana (10-17) and Colon (8-16), which took place in Santa Fe. 13th ranked Riojana lost to sixteenth ranked Colon in a road game 74-79 on Tuesday. Hans Feder nailed 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Juan Luis Abeiro came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for Riojana in the defeat. Riojana's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Colon have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with El Talar. Loser Riojana dropped to the twelfth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Rivadavia and U.Mar del Plata. Colon will meet at home higher ranked Comunicaciones (#12) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Riojana will have a break next round.
