Rahoveci lands Richard Granberry, ex Olimpico

Newly promoted KB Rahoveci (Superliga) signed 32-year-old American 203cm forward Richard Granberry (college: Virginia State). He began the season with Olimpico in the Argentinian La Liga, where he averaged 11.1ppg and 5.5rpg in 14 games. Granberry was named League Player of the Week during his time with Olimpico.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in eight different countries playing on four different continents. Granberry is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in Argentina (Argentino and Montmartre), Brazil (Fortaleza), Chile, Denmark (Svendborg and Vaerlose), Mexico (Halcones de Ciudad Obregon), Paraguay (San Jose), United Arab Emirates (Al Wahda), and Ecuador (Guerreros Neaume Marco Cepeda).
Among many awards, his team won the CIAA Northern Division Regular Season in 2018. Granberry was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Honorable Mention in 2024.
Granberry graduated from Virginia State in 2018 and is currently in his eighth season in pro basketball. He has also played for other colleges such as Neosho County Community College and the College of Central Florida.
