Grytsak's double-double lands him La Liga Argentina Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old Ukrainian Andriy Grytsak (201-SF-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Atletico Gorriti de Jujuy and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 48.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 18 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Salta Basket (#5, 15-10) 92-97. Jujuy moved-up to the 7th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Jujuy will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 15-12 record. In the team's last game Grytsak had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Grytsak has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 8.7rpg) and averages solid 56.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Keiver Marcano (205-C-2003) of Deportivo Viedma Rio Negro. He is Venezuelan center in his first season at Dep Viedma. In the last game Marcano recorded an impressive 25 points and 6 rebounds. It was enough for Dep Viedma to edge slightly lower-ranked Racing A. (#10, 13-13) by 4 points 92-88. Dep Viedma's 8th position in Conferencia Sur has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 15-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Marcano is a newcomer at Dep Viedma and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Hans Feder of Colon Santa Fe (#16). Feder scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Colon, leading his team to a 84-78 win against slightly lower-ranked Las Heras (#17, 6-20). The chances of Colon not to end season at such low position in Conferencia Norte, however are less than slim as they have already lost 16 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Feder could try to bring Colon SF's a little bit higher in the standings. Feder has individually a great season in Argentina. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (best scorer).
